'No Effect' Thresholds To Purse Accounts Round Out Final Day Of National HBPA Conference

On Friday--the final day of the National HBPA Conference at Prairie Meadows--a panel entitled "Establishing No-Effect Thresholds and the Importance for the Industry" was led by practicing equine veterinarian and researcher Dr. Clara Fenger. Iowa Lt. Gov. Gregg To Deliver Keynote At National HBPA Conference July 24

Iowa Lieutenant Governor Adam Gregg will deliver the keynote address at the 2024 National HBPA Conference set for July 23-26 at Iowa's Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack and Hotel, the association said in a release early Friday morning. Prairie Meadows to Race 84 Dates in 2022

Prairie Meadows 2022 live racing season will begin Friday, May 13 and conclude Sunday, Oct. 2, the track announced Monday. A total of 84 racing days will be scheduled with both Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racing offered. The dates have been approved by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission (IRGC). ITBOA Hosting Stallion Season Auction

The Iowa Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association is conducting an online auction of seasons to more than 100 stallions from 12 states.
