As weather woes continue to dog Southern California, officials at Santa Anita proactively cancelled Friday's eight-race program and have scheduled a make-up day of racing for Monday, Mar. 27. Due to high winds and frigid temperatures, the New York Racing Association (NYRA) has canceled live racing Friday at Aqueduct Racetrack. The forecast, which calls for sustained high winds gusting as high as 39 mph, is expected to create wind chill factors as low as -5 degrees and will impact the New York metropolitan area.
