Arizona Senate Committees Advance Horse Racing Bill

The Arizona Senate moved a gaming bill through two committees--one unanimously--and it now awaits an assignment date for a vote by the full Senate. Senate Bill 1794 passed the Appropriations and Rules committees, with wide support. KY Governor Signs HHR Legislation

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear signed a bill on Historical Horse Racing (Senate Bill 120) Monday, which would assure that betting on historical machines is legal. KHRC Awards $14.3 Million to Kentucky Breeders for 2020

The Kentucky Horse Racing Commission has awarded $14.3 million to qualified breeders through the Thoroughbred Breeders' Incentive Fund for Kentucky Thoroughbreds' wins in 2020. The incentive fund requires owners to board mares in Kentucky from the time of breeding until the birth of the foal. Incentive payments are based on the foal's eventual winnings on the racetrack.
