There were six lots that sold for six-figures at the Goffs UK December P2P Sale at Yorton Farm on Thursday, led by lot 5, Saint Davy (Fr) (Balko {Fr}). Sold by Monbeg Stables, the 4-year-old brought £270,000 from Stroud Coleman and Jonjo O'Neill. He was a debut winner at Quakerstown in November. Pointers Lead Goffs UK Autumn Sale

Point-to-pointers proved popular during the one-day Goffs UK Autumn Sale on Thursday, with trade topped by Music Drive (Fr) (Muhtathir {GB}) (lot 129). Offered by Colin Bowe's Milestone Stables, the 4-year-old Music Drive won a point-to-point at Monksgrange on Sept. 26, and was picked up by Aidan O'Ryan and Gordon Elliott for £90,000. At the close of trade, 113 horses sold (66%) from 170 offered for an aggregate of £1,014,800 that was up 29% on last year. George Stanners Appointed Bloodstock Manager of Yorton Farm

George Stanners has been named the new Bloodstock Manager of Yorton Farm. Previously with DBS which became Goffs UK straight from school 17 years ago, Stanners will begin his new role on Jan. 1, 2022.
