Irish jockey Gearoid Brouder has been hit with a massive four-year ban, although there is a possibility of the last three being suspended, after he tested positive for a metabolite of cocaine at Gowran Park on May 10. Trainer Charles Byrnes was hit with a massive €6,000 fine under the non-triers' rule following the running of Ellaat (GB) (Heeraat {Ire}) in a low-grade handicap on the Flat at Gowran Park on Wednesday evening.
