The road to the Kentucky Derby runs through Louisiana Saturday, Feb. 18 and FanDuel TV will be live on-site at Fair Grounds with exclusive coverage of the $400,000 GII Risen Star S. as undefeated Victory Formation (Tapwrit) takes on a field of 12 rivals. There are 50-20-15-10-5 Kentucky Derby qualifying points on the line for the top five finishers. Jockeys And Jeans Stallion Season Sale Begins Tuesday, Jan. 10

Bidding opens for the Jockey and Jeans Stallion Season Sale, benefitting the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund, on Tuesday Jan. 10 at 9 am ET and ends Thursday, Jan. 12 at 9 pm ET with a preview beginning Jan. 9. MGISW Raging Bull (Fr) (Dark Angel {Ire}) was represented by his first foal, a filly, born Jan. 5, Gainesway Farm announced. "We're excited to see the first foals by Raging Bull starting to hit the ground," said Gainesway Stallion Director Ryan Norton. Kalypso (Brody's Cause) (hip 192), last year's GI La Brea S. winner, got the broodmare portion of Fasig-Tipton's Night of the Stars going in earnest when bringing $2.1 from Japan's Katsumi Yoshida. Offered as a broodmare prospect only, she was consigned by Gainesway, Agent II on behalf of co-owner Gainesway, who campaigned her with David Bernsen, Rockingham Ranch and Chad Littlefield.
