Former Trainer and Jockey Tony Hide Dies at 85

The racing community in Newmarket has lost one of its most popular members with the death of former trainer Tony Hide at the age of 85. Tony Hide's lifelong love of and commitment to racing started in childhood as his father William was a trainer near Ludlow in Shropshire. Derby-Winning Rider Edward Hide Dies At 86

Edward Hide, who won the Derby aboard Morston (Fr) (Ragusa {GB}) for Arthur Budgett in 1973, has passed away at the age of 86.
