Haras de Montaigu has released the fees for its stallion roster which is boosted to six for 2025 with the arrival of Cloth Of Stars (Ire) from Haras du Logis. The Group 1-winning son of Sea The Stars (Ire) will stand for a fee of €4,000. The popular National Hunt stallion No Risk At All (Fr), sire of the Champion Hurdle winner Epatante (Fr), leads the Montaigu roster at €20,000. Haras de Montaigu will stand five stallions in 2022, for which the fees were revealed on Wednesday. Montaigu announced earlier this week that the 2019 G1 Prix Royal-Oak winner Technician (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) would join its roster for his debut season, and the former Team Valor International runner will stand for €3,000. The German breeding industry was dealt a blow this week with the death of 17-year-old Adlerflug (Ger). In 2020, the Gestüt Schlenderhan stallion wrested the German sires' championship from another son of In The Wings (GB), Soldier Hollow (GB), who was runner-up and who had the highest number of winners overall.
