Donnchadh Doyle is the latest recipient of the Willie Stephenson Memorial Trophy, which commemorates the co-founder and first chairman of Doncaster Bloodstock Sales (DBS), now known as Goffs UK, the sales company announced on Friday. The award is presented annually by the Goffs UK board to the person they feel has made the biggest contribution to the success of the company during the year. The Goffs UK August Sale, this year extended to two days, opened at Doncaster on Wednesday with a session of horses in training achieving an 88% clearance rate.
