Having left his post as manager of Childwickbury Stud, John Hernon will take up the mantel as Chief Executive Officer at Martyn Meade's Manton Park Stud in Wiltshire with the long-term goal of elevating the operation to one of the top commercial stallion farms. John Hernon has been appointed manager of Paul and Sally Flatt's Childwickbury Stud in Hertfordshire. Formerly the yearling manager at Cheveley Park Stud, Hernon grew up at his family's stud farm in Wicklow in Ireland and completed the Irish National Stud's Management Course before gaining further experience on stud farms in Australia and the UK.
