Jockey Ferrin Peterson suffered a broken, displaced collarbone when the horse she was riding, Chargina (Fed Biz), broke down in the third race at Thistledown Tuesday. She rode Haruki (Karakontie {Jpn}) in the May 6 English Channel S. at Gulfstream and as the horses were pulling up she encountered a bunch of geese who were crossing over the turf course.
