Applications Open For Racing Industry Course

Applications are open for the British Racing School's Racing Industry Course, which runs from Jan. 25 through Jan. 29 in Newmarket. The course provides an overview of all facets of the racing industry from the history of the sport to promotion and its contribution to the British economy. Pony Racing Activities Receive Funding Boost

In an effort to create a pathway into racing through pony racing, a five-year funding boost of £180,000 was announced by the Racing Foundation and Pony Racing Authority on Monday. LGBT+ Awareness Offered in British Racing

The Diversity in Racing Steering Group's (DiRSG) dedicated LGBT+ sub-group launched a new e-learning module to improve LGBT+ awareness and inclusion within British racing. The module has been included in the mandatory licensing courses at the British Racing School and National Horseracing College. The module, available for free via Racing2Learn, is accessible to anyone involved in the industry.
