Museum of Racing Hosts Silent Auction and Online Fundraiser Feb. 3

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame will host the second annual "Countdown to the Triple Crown" fundraising event on Saturday, Feb. 3, the repository said in a release Thursday. Scheduled exactly three months prior to the 150th GI Kentucky Derby, the museum benefit will feature dozens of silent auction items. National Museum Of Racing Updates Hall Of Fame Historic Review Committee Process

The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame's Executive Committee has approved changes regarding the institution's Historic Review committee process based on feedback received from the chair and members, the institution said in a Friday release. Beginning this year, the Historic Review Committee will start an annual rotation to examine a specific era of American racing history. Only candidates from within the designated era will be considered for Hall of Fame induction during that year's review process. Secretariat Exhibition To Visit Woodbine Racetrack And Keeneland Race Course In October

In celebration of Secretariat's Triple Crown sweep a half century ago, the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame's traveling exhibition will visit Woodbine Racetrack and Keeneland Race Course in October, the museum said in a release Thursday afternoon. The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, located in Saratoga, will host a "Countdown to the Breeders' Cup" program Saturday, Oct. 29. Museum, Hall of Fame, Undergo Major Facelift
