On May 27, the Breeders' Cup Election website will open for 2021 Breeders' Cup foal and stallion nominators to begin the voting process. Ontario Racing's Thoroughbred Improvement Program Committee has approved an additional $200,000 for its Mare Purchase Program, bringing the total to $700,000 after an enthusiastic response from breeders. The Maryland Bred Fund will implement additional incentives that have been approved by the Maryland Racing Commission, the Maryland Horse Breeders Association announced Wednesday.
