Consignors and Commercial Breeders Association Installs New Board Members

The Consignors and Commercial Breeders Association (CBA), whose 300-strong membership accounts for over 80% of the annual auction revenue in North America, elected new officers and board members at a recent meeting, the organization said in a release Wednesday evening. The CBA's 15-member Board features eight members from the top 20 consignors and seven members from other consignors and commercial breeders. FTBOA Reelects George Isaacs as President

George Isaacs, general manager of Ocala's Bridlewood Farm, has been reelected as the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders' and Owners' Association (FTBOA) president, according to a release put out by the organization Wednesday. The Retired Racehorse Project (RRP) has elected new officers and board members for three-year terms. Sue Smith, Richard Lamb, Malinda Lawrence, JudithAnn Hartman, and Clare and Tom Mansmann have all moved into new roles. The Jockey Club today has elected five new members: Gatewood Bell, Fred W. Hertrich III, James McIngvale, Dr. Mary Scollay, and John Sikura. As a bloodstock agent, Gatewood Bell, president of Cromwell Bloodstock Agency, selected horses including Mastery and Undrafted. In addition to his work in bloodstock, Bell is a memberof the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission and a United States representative for Goffs sales agency.
