Fifty horses were sold for £4,288,500-a record for any select point-to-point sale--at an average of £85,770 and a clearance rate of 93%. National Hunt mares and short yearlings took to the ring at Doncaster on Tuesday for the first of two sessions of the Goffs UK January Sale.
