BBAG to Hold Christmas Online Sale

The inaugural BBAG Christmas Online Sale will begin on Nov. 26 and bidding will close on Nov. 28. Horses of all ages are permitted for the auction which is identical in format to the spring online auction, BBAG announced on Monday. Horses do not have to travel to the sales ring in Iffezheim. Videos and photos of lots will be available in the online catalogue after publication. The deadline to register is Friday, Nov. 18. For more information, please visit the BBAG website.

The BBAG August Sale, a new sale comprised mainly of horses-in-training that have entries during German racing's Big Week at Baden-Baden, was announced by the sales company on Wednesday. The one-day BBAG Yearling Sale in Baden-Baden will see 223 yearlings go through the ring on Sept. 3, as the catalogue was announced on Thursday. Restricted Access to BBAG October Mixed Sale

BBAG's October Mixed Sale, set for Oct. 16-17, is restricted to 500 people. Both Ireland and the UK have been placed on Germany's COVID-19 High Risk list, as cases of the coronavirus have increased in recent times. In order to attend the sale, a negative COVID-19 test must be taken within 48 hours before arriving in Germany. Certification of the negative COVID-19 test is required for admittance to the sales grounds. The sale begins on Friday at 10 a.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m.
