Once again this year Arqana will be fundraising for the François Baclesse Centre in Caen through the Octobre Rose initiative, with all vendors invited to take part in a charity challenge during the October Yearling Sale. 'La Marche Rose' will start on Monday, October 21 and finish on Friday, October 25 when the gavel falls on the final lot. A total of 775 lots have been catalogued for the Arqana October Yearling Sale, including a Romanised (Ire) half-brother to this year's G1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains winner Metropolitan (Fr) (Zarak {Fr}), who was bought by Alessandro Marconi for €78,000 at this very sale in 2022. The majority of Arqana's yearlings have now gone through the ring this season, with only the November Yearling Sale's 155 lots left to sell, and indices are positive across a range of categories for the Deauville-based sales company when taken as a whole.
