When Amplify Horse Racing was founded as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2020, our goal was to engage youth with the Thoroughbred industry. As 2024 draws to a close, I reflect with immense pride on how Amplify isn't just engaging youth with the Thoroughbred industry-we have become the national youth arm of the U.S. industry. Keeneland Welcomes Fifth Graders

Amplify's Impact Campaign To Raise $1m To Drive Sport's Expansion

The Thoroughbred Education and Research Foundation has awarded $61,500 in education grants to seven organizations. The following organizations received scholarships and education funding from TERF this year: $5,000 to Amplifying Horse Racing; $10,000 awarded to Belmont Child Care Association, Inc.; $10,000 to Maryland Horse Foundation; $5,000 to MidAtlantic Horse Rescue; $7,500 to Retired Racehorse Project; $9,000 to Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation; and $15,000 to Wilson College. Cicero, Illinois is a suburb that hugs the west side of Chicago, and is home to Hawthorne Race Course. It's also the headquarters of Morton High School District 201, which serves approximately 8,000 students from Cicero and surrounding communities. Amplify Horse Racing is accepting applications through June 30 for its fall 2024 Mentorship Program, which is scheduled for Aug. 1 through Oct. 31, the educational non-profit said in a press release on Thursday afternoon. Amplify Horse Racing To Host Spring Break Event

Registration is open for a Spring Break bus tour through Lexington, KY horse country hosted by Amplify Horse Racing, a nonprofit that spotlights industry education and career opportunities. The event, held Friday, April 5, will guide young adults age 13 and up through various places such as WinStar Farm's training center and Hallway Feeds before ending the day at Keeneland for racing on opening day.
