Horseshoe Indianapolis concluded its 124-day season Nov. 14 with a record total domestic handle of $282 million. The new mark eclipses the previous record of $279 million set in 2023. Alberto Burgos wins Leading Jockey Title at Horseshoe Indianapolis

Horseshoe Indianapolis, which wrapped its 124-day 2024 season Thursday, has a new leading rider in Alberto Burgos, who won his first career leading jockey title. The Puerto Rico native locked up the title with 81 wins and earnings of more than $2.1 million. Burgos has been riding since 2019 and is in only his second year at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
