Del Mar' Friday post time has been moved up to 3 p.m. instead of the usual 4 p.m. start time. The Friday switch to 3 p.m. will be the first of four such Friday changes--Aug. 19, Aug. 26, Sept. 2 and Sept. 9--going through to the track's final Sept. 9, 10, 11 weekend. The change is being brought into play to ensure that the track has enough light to run its final races in a safe and viewable manner with sunset coming earlier in the late afternoon as summer nears...
