A dead horse was found Wednesday, Oct. 4 at Maryland's former Bowie Training Center, closed since 2015 and owned by 1/ST Racing. Gulfstream Park's Championship Meet--featuring the $3 million GI Pegasus World Cup Invitational and $1 million GI Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational Jan. 27 and $1 million GI Curlin Florida Derby March 30--will offer 68 stakes in 2023-2024 with total purses of $14.875 million, the track said in a press release Thursday.
