ZARIGANA (GB) (Siyouni {Fr}) is an eye-catching newcomer for The Aga Khan and Francis-Henri Graffard, being a daughter of the listed-winning and G1 Prix Vermeille-placed Zarkamiya (Fr) (Frankel {GB}). She was the sixth foal out of the owner-breeder's legendary Zarkava (Ire) (Zamindar) and half to Dubawi's promising sire Zarak (Fr). Among her rivals is Baron Edouard De Rothschild's Reine De Medicis (Ire) (Romanised {Ire}), an Andre Fabre-trained half-sister to the G1 Poule d'Essai des Poulains third Alcantor (Fr) (New Bay {GB}).
