The RoR Racing to Cricket Day, held Sunday, Sept 3., raised over £45,000 for Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) with Jack Channon's team claiming the victory in the tournament.

A total of eight teams participated in the event, with the final coming down to a battle between Jack Channon's team and Charlie Hills' team. Channon's team has taken part in the Racing to Cricket Tournament since it began in 2017 and finished second twice previously.

“It was a wonderful day and we are so grateful to all those owners, trainers and sponsors who supported it,” David Catlow, RoR Managing Director, said. “The generosity of donors of the auction lots and the guests on the day has been fantastic. Our thanks to everyone for helping to raise funds for the important work RoR does, at a time when such support is much needed.”
