HH Sheikha Al Laila Racing's HIPSTER BOY (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) is a half-brother to 2007 G1 Prix d'Ispahan, G1 Prince of Wales's S. and G1 Prix Jacques Le Marois hero Manduro (Ger) (Monsun {Ger}), and debuts for the John Gosden stable here. His rivals include fellow firster and stablemate Rhode Island (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), who is a half-brother to MG1SW speedster Kingsgate Native (Ire) (Mujadil).

George Strawbridge's hitherto untried CORELLI (Point of Entry), one of two John Gosden entries, is a homebred half-brother to four black-type performers headed by 2007 G1 St Leger victor Lucarno (Dynaformer). Opposition includes Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum's homebred newcomer Allieyf (GB) (New Approach {Ire}), who is a William Haggas-trained son of 2013 G1 Jebel Hatta and G1 Dubai Duty Free heroine Sajjhaa (GB) (King's Best).

Godolphin's ESPADRILLE (GB) (Dubawi {Ire}) is a once-raced son of MG1SP 2009 G3 St Simon S. victress High Heeled (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}) and returns off a promising fifth to subsequent Listed Montrose Fillies' S. winner and Charlie Appleby-trained stablemate Hadith (Ire) (New Approach {Ire}) going an extended mile at Nottingham last month. The 800,000gns Tattersalls December foal faces a baker's dozen which features Al Shaqab Racing's €200,000 Arqana August yearling Mayaseen (Fr) (Style Vendome {Fr}), a half-brother to 2015 G1 Irish Oaks heroine Covert Love (Ire) (Azamour {Ire}), debuting for the Hugo Palmer yard.
