CLEPAT (f, 2, American Pharoah–Intelyhente, by Smart Strike), a $310K Keeneland September grad, is out of a winning full-sister to MGSW Bel Air Beauty–dam of Sovereign Award-winning sprinter Stacked Deck (First Samurai) and GSP Valentino Beauty–and a half to the stakes-placed duo of Curlin Rules (Curlin) and Dynafortwo (Dynaformer). Clepat, a half-sister to SP Count Alexander (Scat Daddy) and to last-out Prairie Meadows maiden winner Mr. Ankeny (Into Mischief), switches to dirt and stretches out off a debut seventh on the turf going 1500 meters July 27. URAWAZA TECHNIQUE (JPN) (c, 2, Liam's Map–Toutsie Rules, by Roman Ruler) is the first foal from his dam, third for Hilary Pridham and trainer Mike Stidham in the GIII Charles Town Oaks in 2015 and later sold for $135K with this foal in utero at KEENOV in 2016. A March foal, Urawaza Technique was withdrawn from the 2017 JRHA Select Foal Sale, but fetched ¥16 million ($144,800) at last year's JRHA Select Yearling Sale. SILVER JACK (c, 2, Fed Biz–Silver Bean, by Silver Deputy) is the latest foal from his dam, a half-sister to GISP Normandy Invasion (Tapit) and to Princess Ash (Indian Charlie), the dam of MGSW/GISP 'TDN Rising Star' Quip (Distorted Humor). An $8,000 RNA at KEESEP last year, the April foal was a $30K OBSMAR juvenile after breezing an eighth of a mile in :10 1/5. His yearling half-sister by Brody's Cause is cataloged as hip 2198 next month at KEESEP. B-C Kidder & N Cole (KY)
