Providing a boost to the form of TDN Rising Star Polyvega (Ire) (Lope De Vega {Ire}), Juddmonte's Apollo Fountain (GB) (No Nay Never–Fount {GB}, by Frankel {GB}) made light work of Saturday's five-furlong Listed Prix Yacowlef at Deauville. Runner-up to that Wertheimer blueblood at Chantilly last month, the 3-1 favourite was keen early in the hands of Alexis Pouchin as he opted to drop out last. Delivering a dramatic surge to hit the front passing the furlong pole, the Andre Fabre-trained daughter of the operation's G3 Prix de Lieurey winner Fount from the family of Ventura (Chester House) stayed on powerfully to record a three-length success from Kaadi (Ire) (Soldier's Call {GB}).

Apollo Fountain is the second foal out of the aforementioned Fount, a daughter of the four-times top-level winner Ventura who is also the second dam of the G1 Saudi Cup hero Emblem Road (Quality Road). This is the family of the multiple group winners Trade Fair (GB) (Zafonic) and Tested (GB) (Selkirk) and the G1 Australian Cup hero Harlem (GB) (Champs Elysees {GB}). Fount's yearling filly is by Dubawi (Ire).
