Godolphin's 525,000gns Tattersalls October Book 1 acquisition Noble Style (GB) (Kingman {GB}–Eartha Kitt {GB}, by Pivotal {GB}) earned 'TDN Rising Star' status when debuting with elan over five furlongs at Ascot in May, but skipped Royal Ascot's G2 Coventry S. before confirming his wellbeing when upped to six for his July 29 return at Newmarket last time. Sent postward as the 3-1 third choice for a stellar renewal of Friday's G2 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Gimcrack S. at York, he produced a display of raw power and claimed a career high in the six-furlong juvenile contest. Finding a modicum of cover in rear after breaking from the stands' side stall, the March-foaled bay made eyecatching headway from halfway before quickening smartly to go second approaching the final furlong and kept on powerfully in the closing stages to deny Marshman (GB) (Harry Angel {Ire}) by 1 1/4 lengths nearing the line.

“I'm very lucky to be able to make the call and give this horse the time that was needed,” revealed Charlie Appleby. “We were very happy with how he came out of Newmarket and, physically, you could see how much improvement was there. He galloped earlier in the week and looked as good as we've ever seen him. We came here with confidence, but there was plenty of strength in depth in the race today. He had to go and do it and he did it well. I suppose the [G1 Vincent O'Brien] National S. [at the Curragh] can be put into the melting pot, but he might be able to do it again over six in the [G1] Middle Park [at Newmarket]. I see no reason why he won't stay a mile, he's got a pedigree that suggests that he'll get it for sure and he does it all very nicely.”

Noble Style, half-brother to a weanling filly by Camelot (GB), is the second of three foals and lone runner produced by Listed Boadicea S.-winning G3 Summer S. third Eartha Kitt (GB) (Pivotal {GB}), herself a half-sister to Listed Chesham S. victor and G3 Solario S. runner-up Arthur Kitt (GB) Camelot {GB}). His second dam, G2 Queen Mary S. heroine Ceiling Kitty (GB) (Red Clubs {Ire}), is a granddaughter of G3 Prix Penelope victrix Baldwina (Fr) (Pistolet Bleu {Ire}), herself the dam of G1 Oka Sho (Japanese 1000 Guineas) heroine Jeweller (Jpn) (Victoire Pisa {Jpn}) and multiple pattern-race winner One Carat {Jpn}) (Falbrav {Ire}).
