Jet Setting Returns in Fairy Bridge

Adrian Keatley has identified the G3 Fairy Bridge S. at Tipperary as a likely comeback target for his G1 Irish 1000 Guineas heroine Jet Setting (Ire) (Fast Company {Ire}). Bought for just 12,000 guineas out of Richard Hannon's stable last autumn, the 3-year-old claimed a shock victory over the brilliant Minding (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}) at The Curragh in May and went under the hammer for a cool £1.3million on the eve of Royal Ascot. She made her debut in the colours of the China Horse Club just four days later in the G1 Coronation S., but finished a disappointing ninth and was subsequently found to be under the weather.

Keatley has since given his stable star a break and she is now being prepared for an appearance at Tipperary on Aug. 25 before a likely return to Group 1 level in Leopardstown's Matron S. just over two weeks later.

“She is in good form and is back in full work again now,” said the trainer. “Everything is looking positive and the plan is to give her a run in a Group 3 at Tipperary for fillies' only, the Fairy Bridge S. That will be a nice race for her and will hopefully leave her spot-on for the Matron.”
