Lael Stables and Three Chimenys Farm's NEZET (Tapit&log=">Tapit) was the second-highest lot of the 2015 Keeneland September sale when hammering for $1.65 million, and the chestnut makes his belated debut in this Thursday turf route at Belmont. Trained by Chad Brown, Nezet is out of MGISW grass runner Pure Clan (Pure Prize), who captured the GI Flower Bowl Invitational S. on this course in 2009 and was second in that term's GI Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf before selling for $4.5 million as a broodmare prospect at the 2012 KEENOV sale. Pure Clan is also a half to MGSW Greater Good (Intidab), while her dam, GSW Gather the Clan (Ire) (General Assembly), is out of champion sprinter and MGSW/GISP What a Summer (What Luck). Deeper in the female family reside GISW Sky Diva (Sky Mesa) and MGSW/GISP Finley'sluckycharm (Twirling Candy). Brown will also be represented by firster Untraceable (Unbridled's Song), a $360,000 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic buy from the final crop of his superstar sire. The Woodford Racing colorbearer is a half to GSW/GISP Bear Tough Tiger (Roar of the Tiger). The two newcomers will likely have to get around Shadwell Stable second-timer Jahaafel (Tapit&log=">Tapit), who was a close third with an 87 Beyer in his debut Aug. 23 at Saratoga. TJCIS PPs

A dozen juvenile fillies go postward in this twilight affair with only one start of experience combined between the 12. Mark Casse appears to have a live hand with Bach Stables LLC's QUEEN MUM (Paynter), a $190,000 KEESEP purchase who shows a litany of strong local breezes, including a half-mile bullet in :47 2/5 (1/83) Sept. 5. The dark bay is a half-sister to GISW and 'TDN Rising Star' Constellation (Bellamy Road) out of juvenile SW For Royalty (Not For Love), herself a half to GSW/GISP Kiss to Remember (Big Brown). Further back in the female family are MGISW Spun Sugar (Awesome Again) and GISW Daaher (Awesome Again). Saratoga Seven Racing Partners LLC's Malibu Treasure (Malibu Moon) is the first foal out of MSW/GSP Treasured Up (Medaglia d'Oro), a half to MGSW/G1SP Choctaw Nation (Louis Quatorze). The Ian Wilkes trainee also shares a second dam with this summer's GI Alfred G. Vanderbilt H. hero El Deal (Munnings). Bootsy's Hadenough (Paynter) also merits a look for the Kellyn Gorder barn. The oftline$65,000 OBS June buy is a half to promising 'TDN Rising Star' American Pastime (Tapizar) out of a half to GSW/MGISP Victory U. S. A. (Victory Gallop) and shows an upbeat worktab, punctuated by a five-furlong bullet in 1:00 flat (1/13) Sept. 4 at Keeneland. TJCIS PPs
