The Royal Ascot meeting was off to a flying start yesterday with stellar performances by Gleneagles (Ire) (Galileo {Ire} in the G1 St James's Palace S. and Solow (GB) (Singspiel {Ire}) in the G1 Queen Anne S. Today's card looks to be equally thrilling with Free Eagle (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}) and The Grey Gatsby (Ire) (Mastercraftsman {Ire}) in the G1 Prince of Wales's S. and the Wesley Ward trained pair of Acapulco (Scat Daddy) and Bruised Orange (City Zip) in the G2 Queen Mary S. Plus, the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's June 2-Year-Olds Sale opened its four-day run in Ocala Tuesday, topped by a Scat Daddy colt which brought a record $575,000 from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum. All that and much more in today's TDN.
