Well, there were only 24 graded stakes we covered worldwide†Saturday, including 13 in the U.S., headed by several with Triple Crown implications. TDN Rising Stars Dortmund (Big Brown), Carpe Diem (Giant's Causeway) and El Kabeir (Scat Daddy) all took their respective races, setting the stage for a very interesting eight-week build-up to the first Saturday in May. Shared Belief (Candy Ride†{Arg}) also†demonstrated why he's the best horse in training in the Big 'Cap.†Meydan staged its 'Super Saturday' program, and no one embodied that label more than Godolphin and jockey James Doyle.
