Three older horses scored graded stakes success as well with Lady Sabelia (Majestic Warrior) wiring the GII Barbara Fritchie H.; Merry Meadow (Henny Hughes) romping in the GIII Hurricane Bertie S.; and Warren's Veneda (Affirmative) leading home a Cal-bred exacta in the GII Santa Maria S. In other Triple Crown news, a pair of sophomore graded stakes winners worked towards their next starts. Meanwhile in Australia, Dissident (Aus) (Sebring {Aus}) stole the show in the G1 C.F.
