Easing to the front approaching the final furlong, the 6-4 favorite was set alight soon after and kept on strongly in the closing stages to comfortably best Sunglider (Ire) (High Chaparral {Ire}) by 2 1/4 lengths. Clear Skies (GB) (Sea the Stars {Ire}), a half-sister to the 2005 G1 Epsom Derby hero Motivator (GB) (Montjeu {Ire}), ran on well from the rear to finish a never-nearer fourth.
