The partnership of Stonehaven Steading, Talla Racing, West Point Thoroughbreds, Woodford Racing and Charles Sonson went to a sales-topping $2,500,000 at Keeneland September in 2022 to secure METRO (Quality Road). A son of GIII Schuylerville S. third True Feelings, he is a half to SW Feeling Mischief (Into Mischief) and GSP Royal Act (American Pharoah). True Feelings is herself a half to the dam of champion 3-year-old filly Wait A While (Maria's Mon) and this is also the family of dual champion and sire Lookin At Lucky (Smart Strike).

“He's grown up and is improving every week,” trainer John Sadler said told media at Santa Anita Thursday morning. “It's time to get him to the races. We had a couple of starts and stops with him, but the last 45 days he's really been doing good.”

Metro is one of two starters in the race for Sadler who also debuts Western Power (Liam's Map), a $350,000 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall yearling for Bee Zee, Hronis Racing and Lane's End Racing. He is a half to GSW Chanteline (Majesticperfection) and MSW Kell Paso (Divine Park). His dam's half-sister produced GI Three Chimneys Hopeful S. winner Currency Swap (High Cotton). TJCIS PPS
