The Tattersalls Ireland Goresbridge Breeze Up Sale catalogue, featuring a daughter of Frankel (GB) (lot 142) out of Irish MGSW and G1 Matron S. third Ainippe (Ire) (Captain Rio {GB}) from Longways Stables, was released online on Monday. Slated for May 22 with the breezes at Fairyhouse Racecourse the day before, the 225-lot sale will be held in the Tattersalls Ireland sales ring from 10:30 a.m. local time. The breezes will begin at 10 a.m.
C. H. Thoroughbreds offers a Kingman (GB) filly (lot 25) from the family of English/Italian highweight Novellist (Ire) (Monsun {Ger}); while Grove Stud consigns lot 28, a bay filly by Siyouni (Fr) whose second dam is G3 Ballyogan S. Winner and G1 Golden Jubilee S./G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest third Lesson in Humility (Ire) (Mujadil).
In 2019, 179 2-year-olds found new homes for a gross of €5,010,500. The average was €27,992 and the median settled at €18,000. Topping the sale at €175,000 was a son of Lope de Vega (Ire)-Legal Lyric (Ire) (Lawman {Fr}), who was later named Haqeeqy (Ire).
