Let go at 8-1, Antonoe who sported the first silks of the Juddmonte pair soon made her way to the front from her wide posting and traveled easily once guided to the rail. Shaken up by Vincent Cheminaud passing the quarter pole, the homebred who shares her second dam with the G1SW Mutual Trust (GB) (Cacique {Ire}) opened up in impressive fashion to score by 6 1/2 lengths from Qemah (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}). Apple Betty (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), Joseph Allen's full-sister to Magician (Ire), stayed on into third, a further neck away in an encouraging debut effort. “This filly was working very nicely in the morning and I really hoped she would run well today,” trainer Pascal Bary commented. “I have to say, she was impressive. She loves fast ground and ought to improve even more, so if all is well we will bring her back for the G3 Prix d'Aumale [over a mile at Chantilly Sept. 8].” Lifetime Record: 1 start, 1 win, €12,500.
