Eighteen Horses Supplemented To Keeneland April Sale

Officials at Keeneland have announced 18 supplemental entries to the April Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale to be held Sunday, Apr. 30 at 4 p.m. ET.

Among the newest additions to the catalog are:

• Commandperformance (c, 4, Union Rags), runner-up in the 2021 GI Champagne S. whose GII Cotillion S-winning third dam Snit (Fit to Fight) produced Grade III victress Blind Date (Not For Love), from Highgate Sales;
• 3-year-old filly Goodbye Kyle (Summer Front), a good-looking debut winner going six furlongs on dirt at the Fair Grounds Mar. 5. Consigned by Gainesway, agent, she is out of a half-sister to graded winners Political Attack and Zillah The Hun;
• Hot Little Thing (f, 3, Army Mule) , romping winner of the Back Home Again S. at Horseshoe Indiana last September and 6 1/2-length winner of an open allowance at the same venue Apr. 18; offered by Highgate Sales
• T Max (Connect), a stakes-placed 3-year-old filly who is entered for the Valley of the Vapors S. at Oaklawn Park Apr. 22; runner-up to Hoosier Philly (Into Mischief) in last year's Rags To Riches S. and hailing from the family of GI Kentucky Derby Monarchos and GI Hill 'n' Dale Met Mile H. hero Silver State (Hard Spun); Taylor Made consigns
• Violet Gibson (Ire) (Expert Eye {GB}), a 3-year-old filly whose lone trip to the races resulted in a head maiden victory over the Gulfstream turf course Mar. 11; from the family of Machiavellian, she is part of the Indian Creek draft

Keeneland will accept supplemental entries until the sale date. Because of the changeable nature of horses of racing age catalogs, consignments will be stabled and a barn order list produced and distributed around Monday, Apr. 24, when the catalog–including supplements–is close to finalized. A printed catalog for the 80 horses initially cataloged in the sale is available at Keeneland. A supplemental catalog will be available just prior to the sale.
