Discount For Aclaim Fillies

Aclaim (Amy Lanigan)

Mare owners who breed a filly foal by Aclaim (Ire) in 2021 will have their contracted price discounted by 25% under new terms for the stallion for the forthcoming breeding season.

Mark McStay of Avenue Bloodstock, who is managing the son of Acclamation, said, “We well understand the pressures on the commercial breeder. Last year, we moved to Live Foal terms and this season, even though Aclaim has had filly foals sell very well, we are offering anyone who breeds a filly a 25% discount on their contracted price. I would urge mare owners to call us to discuss their mares and our prices and terms as they are sure to find a sympathetic ear.”

Aclaim, who is preparing to stand his third season at the National Stud for an advertised fee of £9,500, won the G2 Challenge S. at three before going on to take the G2 Park S. and G1 Prix de la Foret at four. His second dam is a half-sister to Montjeu (Ire), whose own dynasty includes the G1 Irish 1000 Guineas and G1 Moyglare Stud S. winner Again (Ire) (Danehill Dancer {Ire}) and her daughter Delphinia (Ire) (Galileo {Ire}), winner of the G1 British Champions Fillies and Mares S. and the G1 Prix Royallieu.
