Legendary Three-Day Event rider Bruce Davidson and industry veteran Francis B. 'Frank' McEntee have been appointed to the Fair Hill Board of Directors, effective Apr. 1.
“I am looking forward to helping the Fair Hill Foundation as a member of its board,” commented Davidson, who was named one of the 50 most influential horsemen of the 20th century by the Chronicle of the Horse. “Of all the venues I have been to, Fair Hill stands out as one of the most exceptional places to compete a horse. The footing and terrain are the best you can have, better than any place I have been to all around the world.”
McEntee is a retired Senior Executive Vice President of MBNA and is a two-decade veteran of the Thoroughbred industry. An owner of both Eventing and Thoroughbred race horses, he is part-owner of Paddy the Caddy (Ire), winner of The Dutta Corp./USEF CCI4*-Eventing National Championship at Fair Hill International in Oct. 2019.
“We are thrilled to have Bruce and Frank join our board as the Foundation continues to sustain Fair Hill's vision as a world-class Equestrian Center,” said Jay Griswold, Vice President of the Fair Hill Foundation's Board of Directors and Campaign Chair. “Their proven leadership abilities and broad experience in the horse world will help guide us into the future and attract new partners who will support Fair Hill, as well as our efforts to work with the State of Maryland to transform our equine facilities.”
