MATT KING COAL (Cool Coal Man), who was sidelined by a hairline fracture to his pelvis after finishing fourth in the GI Wood Memorial S. Apr. 9, returns to the races for Lady Sheila Stable and trainer Linda Rice in the penultimate race of Aqueduct's Wednesday card. The 3-year-old ran subsequent GSP, GI Travers S. fourth-place finisher and 'TDN Rising Star' Gift Box (Twirling Candy) to a nose when second in the slop at Belmont in October of 2015, before romping in another maiden test there later that month. He won an optional claimer–good for a 98 Beyer Speed Figure–over track and trip Mar. 6 before the Wood Memorial and has been working since mid-October for this return. TJCIS PPs
