Pete Aiello has been named track announcer at Gulfstream Park's upcoming championship meet. Aiello, who also calls races during the track's spring and summer meets, replaces Larry Collmus. “I'd like to thank the entire staff and management of Gulfstream Park for sticking with me and allowing me the opportunity to take part in the Championship Meet,” Aiello said. “I'd also like to thank Larry Collmus for helping me get my foot in the door. I'm extremely happy to be part of the Gulfstream Park team.” The 30-year-old Aiello spent last winter calling the races at Oaklawn Park.
