Tickets are now on sale as the Horse Racing Women's Summit returns to Saratoga Springs, New York, for an educational networking event to be held Tuesday, July 23 at the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame, the volunteer organization said in release on Friday.

The proceedings include a keynote conversation with Lisa Lazarus, CEO of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority (HISA), hosted by NBC Sports's Donna Barton Brothers.

Following the keynote, two panels focused on horse safety and aftercare are scheduled. Finally, Jane Lyon, owner of Summer Wind Farm, will engage in an open dialogue with HRWS founding member Stephanie Hronis.

“HRWS at Saratoga is a unique and exciting opportunity to join forces with women in horse racing,” said Donna Brothers. “It's not just about hearing from top female leaders in the sport, but also about creating new connections. This event provides women who are new to racing with the perfect opportunity to connect with one another and these inspiring women as well.”

The HRWS prioritizes events for the women of the backstretch communities and will once again collaborate with the New York Race Track Chaplaincy and The Jockey Club Safety Net Foundation to host a special event in Saratoga.

Women working in the backstretch community are invited to a gathering at the Marylou Whitney Pavilion on Monday, July 22, where they can have breakfast, receive a filled tote bag, have the opportunity to win raffle items and listen to a panel of speakers. Anyone wanting to make a contribution to the event can do so separately.
