King Assumes New Role at TDN

Gary King, who has served as the TDN's Director of Business Development since 2010, has assumed the role of Vice President of International Operations. In the role, King will oversee all international commercial activities and direct non-domestic editorial coverage. “Gary has taken on increased responsibilities every year that he has been with us,” said TDN co-publisher Barry Weisbord. “We felt it was time that his position reflected those responsibilities, and have carved out a specific segment of our market that plays to his strengths.” The Kildare native will travel extensively to sales and events in the Southern Hemisphere and Europe to expand the company's profile, drive new business development and foster strategic partnerships. TDN's Senior V.P. and co-publisher Sue Finley will spearhead a growing North American emphasis in the TDN and continue to oversee commercial activities in the U.S. as well as the overall day-to-day TDN operations. “The TDN continues to grow every day by every standard of measure–content, traffic, staffing, and advertising,” said Finley. “Gary's international racing knowledge and business acumen is second to none, and this move ensures that the TDN will continue to deliver the high standard of customer service our clients have come to expect.” Gary graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and also completed the Darley Flying Start program in 2010.
