LORD UHTRED (IRE) (Siyouni {Fr}) debuts for KHK Racing and the Charlie Hills stable and at €520,000 was the second-highest-priced juvenile to sell at last month's Arqana Breeze-Up Sale. The April-foaled bay, whose dam is a full-sister to the dual G1 Nunthorpe S. heroine Mecca's Angel (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) and the Group 3 winner Markaz (Ire), tackles Godolphin's fellow newcomer Princeville (GB) (Exceed And Excel {Aus}), a Charlie Appleby-trained full-brother to the G3 Molecomb S. scorer Yalta (Ire).

CHALDEAN (GB) (Frankel {GB}) was a 550,000gns purchase by Juddmonte and the third-highest-priced lot at the 2020 Tattersalls December Foal Sale. A half-brother to the G2 Mill Reef S. winner Alkumait (GB) (Showcasing {GB}), the Andrew Balding-trained May-foaled chestnut is joined by one of the operation's homebreds in Classic Order (GB) (No Nay Never), a Ralph Beckett-trained colt whose dam is a full-sister to the prolific group winner Famous Name (GB).
