CYPHER (JPN) (c, 2, Fenomeno {Jpn}-Josh's Madelyn, by Quiet American) is the latest foal to make the races from his dam, winner of the 2004 GIII Raven Run S. at Keeneland for Michael Pressley and Jim Neidig and trainer Larry Jones. Sold in foal to Forestry for $1 million at Keeneland November in 2007, she is the dam of four winners from six to race and this colt fetched ¥4.75 million (about $44,574) at last year's Hokkaido Summer Yearling Sale. 10th-KOK, ¥28,600,000 ($267k), Allowance, 3yo/up, 2000mT
POTAGER (JPN) (c, 3, Deep Impact {Jpn}–Ginger Punch, by Awesome Again) was a ¥190m (about $1,719,500) purchase by Kaneko Makoto Holdings at the 2018 JRHA Select Yearling sale and sports a record of 5-2-3-0 to date, including a runner-up effort in stakes company in May and a Hanshin allowance victory going this distance in soft ground at Tokyo July 4. His dam carried the Adena silks to victory in the 2007 GI Breeders' Cup Distaff (see below) en route to champion female honors and cost $1.6 million in foal to Bernardini at Fasig-Tipton November in 2009. IDEAL (JPN) (f, 3, Deep Impact {Jpn}–Princess of Sylmar, by Majestic Warrior), well beaten in a pair of turf starts to begin her career, has since finished third in two of three tries on the dirt, including at Hakodate July 11. Upset winner of the 2013 GI Kentucky Oaks (see below) and subsequent to that the GI CCA Oaks, GI Alabama S. and GI Beldame S., Princess of Sylmar was hammered down for $3.1 million at FTKNOV in 2014. Ideal's year-older full-brother Danon Luster (Jpn) is a maiden winner and twice-placed in allowance company from seven starts. B-Shadai Farm

A SHIN AMEN RA (c, 3, American Pharoah–I O Ireland, by Giant's Causeway) has taken two of his three starts on the main track, a debut score last December and a latest success going 1800 meters at Kyoto May 30. A $325K KEESEP purchase, the chestnut is out of a stakes-winning half-sister to MGSW Ioya Bigtime (Dynaformer), GSW Amazing Results (Grand Slam), SW Mavericking (Empire Maker) and MSP Another Mystery (Temple City).
