Archie Watson trainee Igotatext (Ire) (Ajaya {GB}) became the first winner for his freshman sire (by Invincible Spirit {Ire}) with an all-weather victory, going just over six furlongs, at Lingfield.

IGOTATEXT (IRE) (c, 2, Ajaya {GB}–Tifawt {GB}, by High Chaparral {Ire}) was quickly away from the outside stall and settled behind the leaders in third after the initial strides of this debut. Scrubbed along rounding the home turn, the 5-2 pick challenged wide once into the straight and kept on strongly under a late drive to assert by 1 1/4 lengths from Lothian (GB) (Coach House {Ire}), becoming the first winner for his freshman sire (by Invincible Spirit {Ire}). “He has a mind of his own and doesn't do a tap, but he has got ability and it's just a case of getting it out of him,” explained Hollie Doyle. “He toughed it out well, he battled hard in the straight and that was very impressive.” Half-brother to a yearling filly by Fast Company (Ire), the February-foaled bay is the second of three foals and first scorer out of a half-sister to G1 Nunthorpe S. and G1 Golden Jubilee S. hero Kingsgate Native (Ire) (Mujadil) and the stakes-placed Vanishing Grey (Ire) (Verglas {Ire}).
