WHAT'S UP (FR) (c, 2, Bow Creek {Ire}–Perfect Bounty {GB}, by Bahamian Bounty {GB}) stalked the pace in second from the outset of a contest reduced to a match by three late scratchings. Angled into a clear lane with 300 metres remaining, the 8-5 second choice received one flick of Mikki Cadeddu's persuader approaching the eighth pole and kept on relentlessly to deny Surin Beach (Ger) (Soldier Hollow {GB}) by a short head in the dying strides, becoming the first winner for his Haras du Logis-based freshman sire (by Shamardal). Half-brother to a yearling filly by Elvstroem (Aus), he is the second of three foals and first runner produced by a dual-winning granddaughter of MSP Listed Scarborough S. runner-up See You Later (GB) (Emarati), herself the dam of Listed Jebel Ali Sprint winner Take Ten (GB) (Bahamian Bounty {GB}), Listed Cammidge Trophy victor Aahayson (GB) (Noverre) and Listed Sandy Lane S. runner-up Betimes (GB) (New Approach {Ire}). Sales history: €5,000 Ylg '19 BBAGS. Lifetime Record: 1-1-0-0, €2,500.
