Speightstown's Full Flat Takes The Saudi Derby

Japan got a win on the board on the Saudi Cup card with Full Flat (Speightstown) posting a commanding victory in the Samba Saudi Derby Cup Mile. Racing prominently while wide down the backstretch, Full Flat and Yutaka Take were hung three-wide on the bend but loomed ominously and took over the lead approaching the quarter pole. The bay widened his advantage despite failing to change leads and had two lengths on the closing Mishriff (Ire) (Make Believe {GB}) on the line, with Final Song (Ire) (Dark Angel {Ire}) also making up ground in the lane to be third.
