Callback (Street Sense–Quickest, by Forest Wildcat), heroine of the 2015 GI Las Virgenes S., realized a $2-million bid from Northern Farm at KEENOV Wednesday.
The 7-year-old was consigned by Hill 'n' Dale Sales Agency, agent for Elevage Dispersal (Hip 186), in foal to Medaglia d'Oro. She was previously a $2.8-million purchase by Elevage Bloodstock at the 2015 FTKNOV Sale. The bay brought $375,000 as a Fasig-Tipton Saratoga yearling.
Her weanling colt by Medaglia d'Oro followed her in the ring and received a final bid of $400,000 from Hill 'n' Dale at Xalapa.
Callback's second dam Supercharger (A.P. Indy) is the dam of GI Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver.
